Annie is the Advertising and Marketing Manager for the Newport County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Her passion for the environment began at an early age because her family was always doing fun outdoor activities like skiing, sailing and hiking. She is lovingly referred to as the CVB's 'green bean'.

Annie enjoys: lacrosse, traveling, shoes, cooking, skiing, design, London, Newport, all things organic, jogging, sailing, yoga, bodyboarding, dessert, the beach, hiking, mountain biking, pilates, learning to surf, waterskiing, golden retrievers, shark week on the discovery channel, wine, gelato, sushi, pina colada's, getting caught in the rain, the feel of the ocean & taste of champagne...

Patricia is a National Sales Manager at the Newport County Convention and Visitors Bureau. She travels to NY, NJ, MA and PA for her job. She enjoys being part of the NCCVB Green Team, especially the Green Fridays (a.k.a. wearing jeans to work to save the environment)

Patricia’s favorite things are her three teenage children; Victoria, Pete and Katie , and of course, her husband Victor. Patricia’s idea of a perfect day would go like this: walking the beach, jumping the waves, walk the beach again, go home and have a cookout with the family. She thinks that life is good in Rhode Island and it’s all about the simple things in life.

MaryEllen is the Communications Manager for the Newport County Convention and Visitors Bureau. She feels that since her position affords her the opportunity to meet with so many sectors of the community, it is ideal for her to both learn and share “green knowledge”.

Her love of the outdoors is her main reason for joining the Green Committee. Her honeymoon was spent tent camping for a month throughout our country’s beautiful National Parks. Nowadays she spends her freetime walking the beaches and hiking trails with her husband Mick and hyperactive puppy Hamish. She can not imagine a world where future generations would not be able enjoy the same pleasures.

Rebecca, as the Sales Coordinator and Wedding Specialist, is the newest member of the NCCVB staff. Growing up in Newport , Rebecca spent many long, sunny days at beautiful beaches, walking the famous Cliff Walk and enjoyed the setting sun while sailing on Narragansett Bay with her family. Enjoying Newport ’s beautiful outdoor life led Rebecca to become conscious of our duty to preserve Newport ’s pristine nature.

Rebecca has a black Portuguese Water Dog named Chynna that she got from the Potter League for Animals almost twelve years ago. Walking Chynna around town is one way Rebecca takes in breathtaking views around her and gets in her exercise! When she’s not walking Rebecca drives an eco-friendly car with great mileage which she really appreciates now that the cost of gasoline has sky-rocketed. Spending time with family and friends is so important to her that preserving our natural surroundings now will affect generations to come. She knows she can do more and as a member of the Green Team she looks forward to hearing all your great ideas and feedback!
